CC2001-T2 Timer Board, Dual Circuit.

APPLICATION
The CC2001-T2 TIMER BOARD, DUAL CIRCUIT is designed to upgrade an Industrial ConTel to a dual speech path and/or dual paging zone system to suit specific applications.

INSTALLATION
The CC2001-T2 Timer Board is intended to be contained within the ConTel unit to which it is connected.
Prior to installation check the 24v power supply rail. If the power supply rail is <20v consider the addition of a supplementary Power Supply Unit (CC2001/PSU) before proceeding. The CC2001-T2 Timer Board is fitted in the slots at the top of the ConTel unit after the connections detailed shown in Fig. 1 have been made.
Disconnect incoming Line 1 A & B and Page 1 A & B from TS1-1 to TS1-4 on the ConTel circuit board and connect these wires on the Timer Board as per Table1:-

Make the following connections between the ConTel unit and the Timer Board as per the Table 2:-

The unit can be set-up to default to circuit 1 or 2 when using the handset to switch on the ConTel. (Default is the left hand yellow LED illuminated, Timer RESET) Set up PL3, PL4 and PL5 to alter relay switching as follows:-

Link in position B Default Speech Path 2

Plug in the front panel connector (switches and LEDs) to PL1 on the Timer Board.
Plug in supply from CC2001-2 Interface board (flying-lead/connector) to PL2 on the Timer Board.

COMMISSIONING
1. Confirm default LED (left-hand yellow LED) switches on when the ConTel is activated by the handset switch. Confirm the green Unit Active indicator illuminates, and times out correctly (see CC2001/IND2 INDUSTRIAL CONTEL data sheet).
2. Confirm left-hand yellow LED indicator illuminates and that the green Unit Active indicator illuminates when the left-hand switch is momentarily depressed and released. Confirm the unit times out correctly.
3. Confirm right-hand yellow LED indicator illuminates and that the green Unit Active indicator illuminates when the right-hand switch is momentarily depressed and released. Confirm the unit times out correctly.
4. Confirm relay operation is as programmed by links PL3, PL4 and PL5

NB If any relay fails to operate and all connections and links are satisfactory, check the 24v power supply rail. If the power supply rail is <18v intermittent/mis-operation may result. Consider the addition of a supplementary Power Supply Unit, CC2001/PSU.
